Be
sure that slides are created in the tab for slide show (not the master slide
tab). <See

Master
slide Design a slide in the master slide tab and then use it as
often as you like throughout your presentation by highlighting that slide and
clicking on the + sign once you are in the tab for slide show. Tables,
clippings, digital pictures, etc. can also be added to the master slide.
You may
create your own master slide by going to File--New--Presentation or by clicking
presentation on the Starting Points Window. Using your tools, controls, and accents windows you are able
to design your own master slide.
Add text, clip art, tables, digital pictures, etc. Let your imagination run wild!!
Click
on the bottom (thumbnail) of the slide to name it. This will be beneficial in organizing the slides later.
Highlight
any slide that you choose to write notes for. Click the Window menu and choose Notes View. Notes appear below the slide. Click in
the box to type the notes you want.
You may change the font and size.
The notes can be printed to aid the presenter, but they will not show when
the slide show is presented. (To
print the notes be sure to select Notes in the print menu). If printing to a laser printer you may
need to choose the General tab and then AppleWorks 6 in the print menu in order
to select notes to print.
Add
transitions to each slide by clicking on the slide in the control panel and then
highlighting one of the transitions from the pull down menu. It will probably say None right
now. Click the Play tab and then
the Play button to see the transitions.
Click on the play tab to design how
your presentation will be displayed.
Press
Q or Esc to Exit the Play mode.
Be sure
to save often. I usually save my
work after creating every 1-2 slides.
