1. Put a disk in the right side of camera-label toward you. (If Disk Error message appears, see formatting disk below)

2. Turn on camera--slide power switch beside LCD screen on back of camera. You should see an image appear.
3. Record images.
4. Turn camera off--slide power switch beside LCD screen on back of camera.
5. Remove disk by holding down disk eject button and sliding to the left.

Formatting Disk:

1. Press on the control button. The menu bar appears on the LCD screen.
2. Select FILE with the control button, then press . The file menu appears.
3. Select DISK TOOL-->FORMAT with the control button, then press .
4. Select OK with the control button, then press .
5. FORMATTING will appear on the LCD screen. When it is finished the menu will appear at the bottom of the LCD screen. Press to turn the menu bar off.

Recording Still Images:

1. Set PLAY/STILL/MOVIE button to still.
2. Frame shot in the LCD display using the zoom button as desired.
3. Press the shutter button fully down. The image is recorded on the disk.

Playing Back Still Images:

1. Set PLAY/STILL/MOVIE to PLAY.
2. Press twice on the control button.
3. Use the left and right arrows on the control button to display images.

Deleting Images:

• Formatting the disk will delete everything from that disk
• To delete images from disk while in camera:
  1. Slide button to PLAY/STILL/MOVIE button to PLAY.
  2. Locate the iamge you wish to delete. (See Playing Back Still Images)
  3. Use the control button to select delete, then press .
  4. Use the control button so select OK, then press to confirm delete.
• To delete images while disk is in computer:
  1. Double-click on the disk (located on desktop)
  2. Drag picture(s) to trash.
  3. Select Empty Trash from the Special Menu.

Viewing and Naming Pictures:

1. Insert disk into floppy disk drive on computer (or attached to comptuer)
2. Double-click on a picture to view it, then close by clicking the box in the upper left hand corner of the window. Photos on the disk will be named MVC001.JPG, MVC002.JPG, etc.
3. Give each picture a meaningful name by clicking once on the filename, then typing a simple description using lowercase letters with no spaces or punctuation. End the name with .jpg (example vacation.jpg or studentname.jpg)
4. Dispose of any unwanted pictures by dragging picture from disk to trash.

Copying Pictures from Floppy Disk to Computer Hard Drive:

1. Create a folder on computer hard drive.
2. With floppy disk window open, select desired pictures.
3. Drag and drop pictures onto folder (created in step 1).
