TimeLiner
5.0 is an easy-to-use piece of software for creating and printing time
lines. A variety of
timelines can be created (attached pages highlight these different types).
TimeLiner
5.0 will print the following types of time lines: banner, single-page, poster-size & multi-page, and
lists.
Tips for Using TimeLiner 5.0
Multimedia
elements
(movies, graphics, sounds, and notes) as well as web links can be added to the time
line and can be viewed in slideshow.
Media File Types
TimeLiner
can import and display the following file formats:
Graphics: PICT, BMP, JPEG, GIF, AND TIFF
Sounds: MP3, AIFF, WAVE, MIDI
Movies: QUICKTIME, AVI, MPEG (Mac only)
Another
powerful feature of TimeLiner 5.0 is its capability to merge multiple time
lines. Two or more time lines can be
presented as one time line (using
different colors or fonts) to highlight differences for easy cross-comparisons.
When
printing time lines in banner view be sure to select
q Print
Crop Marks (This allows for easy cutting and pasting of the pages.)
Check
to see that the page setup is correct before printing.
If many events are overlapped on the banner view,
click Expand to increase the width of the time line making it easier to read
and interpret.
